Eperan - Polypropylene

1.3pcf Polypropylene

Eperan brand 1.3 pcf polypropylene foam is a strong, resilient, chemically resistant, low density, closed cell foam. It is primarily used as a component material in products requiring a shock absorbing, vibration dampening, insulating barrier or buoyancy component, and as a material for cushioning in packaging applications for impacts or loads up to 3.0 psi.

Eperan 1.3 polypropylene is suitable for many applications including packaging, automotive, military, flotation, recreation and construction. The light weight and wide temperature operating range of this material make it ideal for applications where high temperature performance is required.

The molded properties of this foam results in a high compressive strength which, unlike extruded foams, is uniform in all directions. Eperan 1.3 polypropylene contains no CFC’s or HCFC’s and is fully recyclable. Furthermore, Eperan polypropylene contains no residual blowing agents and, as a result, has no flammable off-gassing and exhibits superior dimensional stability over a wide range of temperatures.

1.9pcf Polypropylene

Eperan brand 1.9 pcf polypropylene foam is a very strong, resilient, chemically resistant, low density, closed cell foam. It is primarily used as a component material in applications requiring a shock absorbing, vibration dampening, insulating barrier or buoyancy component, and as a material for cushioning in packaging applications where high static loadings are required.

Eperan 1.9 polypropylene is suitable for many higher density applications including industrial packaging, automotive, military, flotation, recreation and construction. The light weight and superior mechanical properties of this molded foam make it ideal for any application where a strong, higher density and cost effective material is required.

The molded properties of this foam result in a higher compressive strength, which, unlike extruded foams, is uniform in all directions. Eperan 1.9 polypropylene contains no CFC’s or HCFC’s and is fully recyclable. Furthermore, Eperan contains no residual blowing agents and as a result, has no flammable off-gassing and exhibits superior dimensional stability over a wide range of temperatures.
